Surkanda Devi is a Hindu temple situated at about 8 kms from Dhanaulti in tehri garhwal. It is surrounded by dense forest and affords a scenic view of Dehradun, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Chamba and the greater Himalayas. Short trek of about 2 kms from kaddukhal takes devotees to Surkanda Devi. Every year Ganga Dusera festival is celebrated between May and June which attracts lots of people towards Surkanda Devi.

The spot is most easily reached from the southwest via Dehradun, but is typically a day trip for visitors from Mussoorie and Chamba. Visitors Park their vehicles at kaddukhal (starting point of trek) and walk all the way to Surkanda Devi. The temple opens at 5 am and closes at 8 pm every day.
