Kempty fall

Kempty fall is situated on the hilly tracks of Uttarakhand, India. A stream of water runs throughout the year from the village Banglow Ki Khandi, moves northwest and falls from 1364 meters, splitting into five other falls. The fall lies 2 kms ahead of Kempty village and is the most visited tourist spot in and around Mussoorie. It is said that the fall derived its name from the word “Camp tea”. Kempty was developed as a tourist spot by a British officer named John Mekinan. The famous J.W Marriot hotel also lies on the way to Kempty fall just about 11 kms from Mussoorie (library).
